Lokhitam Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp on the eve of World Donor Day on the 14th of June. The main objective for this camp was to spread awareness regarding the importance of donating blood amongst youngsters. The Director of Lokhitam Blood Bank, Mr Akhilesh Agarwal along with several other members, cut a cake to celebrate the day and appreciate those who donate blood. In the camp, the topic o blood donation was widely discussed and was presented as a form of social partnership that can help save millions of lives. The female donors were applauded for their courage, independence and contribution to the cause. Ek Pahel B.R. Memorial Welfare Society along with Donors Association for All Needy Foundation and () Seva Charitable Foundation participated in the camp and donated blood. A total of 60 units of blood were collected in this camp. The camp was graced by several notable members of the society viz. Mr Shiv Sharan Singh, Asst. Commissioner, medicine - Agra mandal, Mr Ravinder Kumar Manadera (Chief Development Officer), Mr Purushottam Khandelwal (State Vice President) and Mr Vijay Shivhare (Metropolitan President). Cabinet Minister Mr Santosh Ganghwar was the chief guest for the occasion.
